1) Dakar-Saint Louis-Lompoul: 7 Days

  1. Airport arrival – transfer to hotel and night
  2. Visits of Gorée and Dakar, continuation to the Pink Lake (Lac Rosé) and night
  3. Visit to the salt gatherers and trip 4×4 on the dun between the lake and the ocean; lunch at Salim’s Restaurant; drive to historic Saint Louis and night
  4. Visits to Djioudj (50 miles to town) to observe thousands of migrating birds; back to Saint Louis for lunch; afternoon at the beach, night in Saint Louis
  5. Visit of a Peul village in the morning; afternoon around town in calash to discover the amazing first capital of Senegal (2 hours); dinner in typical restaurant and night
  6. Morning free, after lunch taking off for Lompoul desert; encampment in Mauritanian tents, trip to desert and all its different colors; dinner and night at camp.
  7. Initiation into camel riding and trip to Lompoul village and seaport; back to Dakar
